Other Activities

Todos Santos offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. Whether you're hiking the desert hills, strolling our miles of deserted beaches, enjoying authentic Mexican dining and shopping, surfing our world class waves, snorkeling or kayaking the pristine bays, or visiting one of our many art galleries, Todos Santos has something for everyone. For those with an artistic or writing bent, you can find an outlet in the many groups catering to the development of these talents.

For those who love the thrills of riding the waves, Todos Santos has three world-class surfing spots within a seven-mile radius of the town. There are two swimming beaches — Cerritos and Palm Beach. For those looking to snorkle or swim with the sea lions or whale sharks, the Sea of Cortez has many fabulous sites.

In addition to your relaxing time at the Todos Santos Inn we want to make sure that you also experience some of the wide-ranging activities on offer in Todos Santos. For more information on these and other events please don't hesitate to ask our friendly staff.

SURFING: For those who love the thrills of riding the waves, Todos Santos has three world-class surfing spots within a seven-mile radius of town. For those who are interested in learning to surf or improving their skills, Cerritos Beach should be your first point-of-call.

SWIMMING: There are two swimming beaches close to town. Cerritos Beach is popular with the young (or young at heart) crowd who don't mind sharing the beach with the surfing community. For those of you who are looking for a more tranquil, secluded spot, then Palm Beach is where you'll find it.

MEDITATION: El Dharma, a Buddhist meditation and discussion group, meets every Sunday morning from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at La Arca (across from the Inn). Public are welcome to attend and a donation is appreciated.

YOGA: Open yoga classes are held Monday to Friday at La Arca (across from the Inn). Classes are taught by certified yoga instructors and begin Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:00 a.m., and Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 a.m. Classes take place on sponge flooring so personal mats or cushions are not required. Payment for each class is around $70 pesos.

ART GALLERIES: Todos Santos has become home to numerous fine artists. At last count there were no fewer then 15 galleries selling original landscape oil paintings, contemporary works, sculptures, pottery, and wood carvings. Most galleries are located in the historic district of town within easy walking distance of the Inn.

LIVE MUSIC: Our La Copa Bar and Landi's Restaurant come alive at 7 p.m. each Thursday night with Tolin and his Spanish guitar. La Coronela and SandBar restaurants also have live music. La Coronela is located at the Hotel California, and the SandBar is located in Pescadero.

RESTAURANTS: One thing Todos Santos has an abundance of is great places to eat. You can find Italian, American, Asian and Tapas restaurants scattered amongst the many wonderful Mexican eateries. The New York Times, Travel + Leisure, Outside Magazine, and Bon Appetite have all raved about the amazing food in Todos Santos–we're sure you'll agree.

ECO ADVENTURES: If you are interested in learning more about Todos Santos and its rich natural and cultural history then a guided tour is an excellent way to learn. Discover the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, explore the cliffs and coves along Punta Lobos, or walk though the historic district of town visiting the local art galleries. Ask at reception for more details.

CULTURAL CENTER: Located just a few blocks from the Inn, the Cultural Center is one of the best discoveries in town. Spend your time wandering through the hundreds of photos, exhibits and artifacts, and discover the history of the Baja.
